Scotia Travel Softball (STS) plays its summer travel season in the Hudson Mohawk Travel League (HudMo). All league rules and schedules are governed by HudMo. STS is affiliated with, but independent from, the Scotia Glenville Girls Softball League. The HudMo travel season runs from the beginning of June through the end of July.
Travel is a self-funded program, meaning players pay for winter workout indoor facility, HudMo registration fees, umpires, balls and any tournaments they play in during the summer and their travel jerseys. Players are asked to attend workouts throughout the winter.
Each travel team, with the approval of the league board of directors and travel committee, may organize fundraisers to offset the cost of the travel fees and indoor workout facilities.
There are typically 3 divisions of play at each age level in HudMo. These range from rec level to ultra-competitive. Scotia Travel Softball aims to place our travel teams at the level in which they can be the most competitive.
